Zimmer is well known for bringing outstanding education courses to the orthopedic/podiatry community. The courses focus on new technology, new surgical techniques, and facture management topics. The expandable Center houses a complete self-supporting training/educational facility that can be used to promote new products, conduct hands on training and offer educational programs. Of particular interest to the foot and ankle community is the Zimmer M/DN� Intramedullary Nail. It is a cutting-edge system for treatment of distal metaphyseal fractures of the tibia. It features a dynamic slot proximally, to allow compression, and traverse holes, which provide the option to lock in a conventional manner.
