  1. To understand the treatment, you first have to identify the cause of Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome in that individual.
  2. Iontophoresis, phonophoresis, ice message, ultrasound therapy, and extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) could be effective in treating Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome when compared with control.
  3. Low-energy laser treatment, stretching and strengthening exercises, sports compression stockings, lower leg braces and pulsed electromagnetic fields have NOT been proven to be effective in treating Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome.
