Robert Conenello, DPM, FACFAS, FAAPSM, presents this session to explore an exciting new therapy that uses microwave energy to stimulate an immune response; effectively targeting the root cause of the infection. Plantar warts have long been a frustrating condition to treat. Dr Conenello will look at mechanism of action and assess specifically why microwaves possess the ability to “uncloak” HPV. He will also dive into treatment protocol coupled with patient experience. In addition, Dr Conenello will share some of his initial case studies.
