The diagnosis of a pressure injury or ulcer is made purely off of historical and clinical findings. This clinical diagnosis is often confused and misdiagnoses. Pressure injury imposters such as skin changes at life’s end and vascular wounds are commonly misdiagnosed as pressure wounds.
